    Philip seemed knowledgeable in real estate, talks a lot and seemingly appeared genuine. Upon the closing of the conversation I mentioned a buyer broker agreement and not signing one, and he "informed" me the state of Oklahoma requires one to be sign...

    I gave expert help for between 30 and 45 minutes to this customer on the phone. She then announced that she would not sign a Buyer Brokerage agreement, I told her The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission rules. Many sloppy Realtors do not have their buyers sign the agreement at the beginning of the search. In truth, OREC want this agreement in place upon the first substantive meeting with a customer. The customer also stated that, if she was relocated out of state, she would simply rent out her home. I informed her that, while many turn a blind eye, lenders have to right to accelerate the loan - demand payment in full - if they discover that you are no longer an owner occupier. I am a deeply ethical man who wants my customers to know exactly what they are getting into. Rather than indulging in trickery, she was offended by my honesty and transparency. If the goal here is protect the consumer, I can clearly be seen to be doing exactly that for this customer. This review is bitterly unfair.
